The P.9012 calibre features central hour and minute hands, a small seconds dial at 9 o’clock, and a date display at 3 o’clock. It incorporates a 12-hour GMT function for travellers, with local time adjustable via the main hands and home time shown by an arrow-shaped hand; the date automatically adjusts to local time. The calibre has a power reserve of three days, stored in two spring barrels wound by an oscillating weight that operates in both directions. A power reserve indicator is located at the 5 o’clock position on the dial. For precise time setting, the balance wheel stops when the crown is pulled out. Additionally, the quick-change time function allows for convenient hour adjustments without affecting the minute hand, useful for changing time zones or daylight savings time.
